It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you after many years trading as The Fat Quarters we will be closing our doors.
The decision was not an easy one but it is as a result of a downturn in the market and a need for me to have more time to myself and my family. However, I have decided to carry on doing my work on TV with Six Penny Memories.
We are having a 50% Closing Down SALE on ALL products (except sewing machines) in store and on the website.
Everything must go including many of the fixtures and Samples.
The opening hours of the shop will be slightly different over the next few weeks as we have decided to keep our doors open.
Saturday 2nd Feb 10am-4pm
Monday 4th Feb 10am-3pm
Tuesday 5th to Sat 9th Feb 10am-4pm
Sunday 10th Feb 10am-3pm
Monday 11th Feb 10am-3pm
Tuesday 12th to Sat 16th Feb 10am-4pm

Thursday 21st Feb 10am-3pm this will be our last day of Trading.
I will still be available to support anyone with their sewing machines and intend to continue teaching some classes.

Six Penny Memories on TV
Hello!
Don't miss Six Penny Memories on TV this Sunday. They have moved to Create and Craft and this is Kim's first show of 2019 and first show back on create and craft. She will be on at 8am for 2 hours. After this she will be on the last Sunday of each month at 8am and then another hour later on.

This week at The Fat Quarters

We hope your all having a lovely weekend. It's been a busy week of workshops here at The Fat Quarters. Lots of new projects are being started. Many of the girls have made resolutions of finishing some of their started projects. If you also have this as your New Years resolution why not come to one of our workshops? It's a great chance to get new ideas, chat about sewing and meet new friends. We have different times and days availble.

New Years Resolutions
Have you made any New Years resolutions? Maybe it's to get your sewing room tidy. If so, we have the perfect storage for your from Prym. Workshops
Hello,
We are back to our normal opening hours this week of Tuesday- Saturday 10am-4pm.
All of our workshops are up and running again. If you would like to come to a workshop just give us a call on 01207 565728. You don't have to sign up to a block number of sessions, you don't even have to stick with the same day. You could come on a Tuesday one week then a Wednesday the next week. Some people come once a month just for some time to themselves to get some sewing done. We have different days availble
Tuesday- 10:15am-12:45pm £6.50 or 10:15am-3pm £9.50

Friday - 10:15am -12:45pm £6.50

When you come to the workshop you will need to bring your sewing machine, sewing kit including scissors, rotary cutter, threads, stitch ripper etc. If you have a pattern that you are working on bring this with you and any fabrics you would like to use. Alternatively we have patterns and fabrics here if you wanted guidance for a beginners project.
